Format a USB Drive on Your Mac

No data available in drive still drive is full.

I have one usb drive, which is empty. But, when i check its info as you can see its capacity is 16gb and available is 1.4gb .

Drive Name - NO NAME

1 .Search for disk utility.

Open disk utility.

2. Select usb drive, here we can see the same things used 14.16 gb and free 1.4 gb.

3. Click on erase —> Change format to ExFAT.

and Erase the drive.

As we can see the drive is start erasing.

Now drive is emty. As you can see its capacity is 16gb and available is 16gb .
